Chad on the borrowed forklift from the Co-Op and the truck driver.
We said good bye to the Mini Mill last week... She (ALL of the machines are girls at our shop...why? Because Chad says so...guess its kinda like a boat I guess!! ) was our first machine bought on contract, paid off, and then sold. We had her for...10 years. Actually Chad had her for 10 years, I have only known Chad for 7 years...so maybe the Mini Mill had some sort of senority...but no more!! Whaaahhahahaa!! I am now Queen Bee!!On the truck and waiting to be centered and tied down!
She will be replaced this year by a machine that will be robot compatable...because, sadly the work force around here is awful and as Chad keeps saying.... Look at the size of Chad's tool! wrench!
"Its the way of the future...its the way of the future, its the way of the future..."More of the tieing down....
I just smile and say, "Yes mister Hughes...!"
Dave from MTS re-calibrating the mill...
We had just had her fixed up! We had replaced some damaged weigh covers, her air filter, and had her recalibrated...they out of the blue, our local Haas dealer offers us some REALLY good money for her...so here are the pictures of our girl leaving us for the big city of Boise to join Larry's rental fleet! He did this for another mill as well...the third one was running, so we will have to get that one done later...
