Christmas Day Pictures!

Never a dull moment at Christmas... Or even on the way...
The alternator on our truck tried to die on the way to mom and dads...
It was snowing and dark...and there really isn't any cell reception on the way to Weippe..
Luckily there were also no reasons to stop, and we were able to turn off everything and limp on home.  We did call the parents and let them know we were having problems in one of the "spots" that cell reception was available.
Dad gave me X amount of time to get home before he came looking for us...I had to drive kinda fast, and Chad claimed he was getting car sick... But, we made it in 1 minute over the time allotted.  Yeah, I'm that good!  LMAO!
Or its the fact that I have been driving those roads since I was 14... Goodness, I'm old.
Any whoo, Christmas Eve Dad, Chad, and Fred ran to Orofino and picked up and alternator, and a local kid put it in for us!
The trip home was SMOOTH sailing!!

Dad read the tags, Wyatt handed out the presents!

And he did it right quick too!!

Wyatt hates Santa...  Mindy told him not to be afraid because Santa was a fictional character...  That verbiage didn't quite make sense to Wyatt...  So Mindy told him he was fake.  Fake Wyatt understands...
He asked Poppa John to keep Santa away and NOT let him in the house...
So Seven kept watch out the window so she could bark and warn us if Santa came...and also so she could chase his reign deer and make them run off with Santa...
But if that nasty ol' Santa some how got inside, Wyatt was ready to give him a one-two punch!
Crazy little boy.  And his crazy momma!!

He is such a great kid...he was even happy to unwrap a fly mask box!
It had the cutest little p.j.'s in it.  But I just love how he was showing everyone his mask!

How does a redneck kid open his new Shark Vacuum you may ask.  Well with his new orange chainsaw, we'd answer!  :0)
This little guy doesn't like to watch t.v.  However he saw an info-mertial with this vacuum on it, and began asking for one.
So like any good parents would, his got him his vacuum.
Lucky for us too, as there was some sort dog confusion/wreck/mayhem this year where the tree was taken out buy the dogs directly after the presents were removed and there was broken bulbs/balls everywhere.
But never fear, Uncle Chad put that vacuum together and Wyatt vacuumed up every single bit of them!
It really was funny.
On the other hand, my poor mom.  This is the second time Kage was involved in her Christmas Tree coming down and things breaking.  Seven believe it or not was innocent of any crime!!  :0)

Getting a box open really is serious business...

Wyatt got another hot rod for driving up and down the drive way!  This one is a Razor, just like his dad's.

Hank

Thanks to some overnight snow, there was no traction to be had on the mean streets of Weippe.

Wyatt's mom added some weight in the rear, just to see if it helped.  She ended up pushing him while hitching a ride...

Dad on the parent's Christmas present from Mindy, Freddy, Wyatt, Chad, and I.
We bought them a used 4-wheeler.  Mom needed something to pull her pasture with and do a few other things 'round the horses.  I suspect they will need a small trailer for it and a snow plow.  But that will have to wait for a while!  :0)

Wyatt loves anything with an engine.  Although he loves his horses...his is all boy!

Seven jumping for Joy.

Kage after digging...

My brother Dufuss...  Poor ol' Dufuss suffered a stroke a few days after this picture was taken and my parents had to end his suffering...
We'll miss Dufuss' odd old man behavior...

Stuck in the yard...

Abbi and the snowball.

Wyatt and Kage doing some digging.

Dad and Wyatt cruising.

Mindy tries out the new ride...and ends up needing a little help.

Seven and her cousin Oscar.  They love to play together.  Oscar's cousin B.G. is just too small for wrestling, so he has to wait 'til Seven arrives to get some contact sporting done.  He may weigh 135lbs, and Seven only 55lbs..but she can take all he's got to dish out!  :0)

Dad setting the targets.

Tailgate chatting as we load up!

Wyatt watching his dad get out the Chipmunks shells.

Mindy and "The Judge".

Dad and the old WWII rifle watching on...

Mindy and Wyatt work on firing the Chipmunk.

Mindy firing the WWII gun...

Mindy firing my Christmas present to myself!  :0)
Our Christmas was great...  Filled with family fun and plenty of the white stuff!!

That Wyatt! He is such a card - not liking Santa lol and your pup keeping an eye out for ol' saint nick!

Gald you made it there with the faulty altinator.. Nothing like a little scare to get the heart pounding.
